I ordered a t61p from lenove canada this monday. Now the price of the same t61p has dropped by 7%. If I can change the order?

I'm not exactly sure what the policy is in Canada, but I remember when I ordered my t61 they said that you can only apply price protection once. So if you do it once and it drops even lower you can't do it again.

Create the order for the laptop with the new low price, making it the exact same hardware configuration as before.
At the end, convert the order to a quote. You will be e-mailed the information you need for this quote.
Call Lenovo sales. Tell them you wish to do a price match on an existing order. Provide them with the order number of your laptop, and the quote number that you were e-mailed. It will probably take a few weeks, but they will credit the difference to your credit card when all is said and done. Be persistent if necessary, and keep track of all correspondence.
I saved an extra $90 through the 21-day price guarantee myself. -

Then you should cancel it (if it hasn't shipped yet) and reorder it.
