    lenovo T400 mysteriously wakes out of standby

    Anyone else have this problem? Sometimes, but not often, would my laptop wake out of standby all by itself.

    Is it connected to a network?

    It could be the wake on lan setting is enabled and causing it.

    I had the problem and sent for repair. It seems they updated the BIOS and it seems ok now.

    Mine will do the same thing (Vista x64) whenever a USB port is unplugged, or in my case, when my wireless mouse shut itself off from inactivity. Not sure if this applies to your situation but figured I'd toss the suggestion out there.
