i opened my T61 palmrest to add in some more RAM the other day. While the palmrest was on the floor, my nephew ran over it by accident and it got cracked! I don't have the accidental damage coverage so i emailed Mark at Lenovo in NC explaining what had happened last week. He offered to help me out and today i just got the brand-new palmrest free of charge shipped from IBM in PA. I can't be any happier. Thanks Mark and Lenovo! :)

Wow, that is great. I have called Lenovo recently a couple of times and both times the CS reps were very helpful and I got my recovery discs in like a day.

I have to agree as well. I have called Lenovo two times this week, and both times the reps I spoke to were very friendly, and helpful.

Lenovo delayed my shipment ( its already shipped ) and when I complained they said if I were to refuse or return the shipment, they would charge me a restocking fee. They were rude. ?!

they were being reasonable. not necessarily as nice as they could be, but they're not doing anything wrong or unethical or anything

:) the fact is that thinkpads are among the best machines out there even if they no longer have IBM logos on them. 80% of my big family members own either thinkpad/lenovo laptops or lenovo workstation/thinkcentre PCs.

For those who have problems with lenovo customer services. You might seek help from Mark at Lenovo in NC on Lenovo forum. He's nice and willing to assist you if he could.
