I have the lenovo y510p 2 gpu's, 16gb ram, 1TB hdd, and 24GB mssd. I have 3 questions (please answer each specifically):
1. I want to replace the HDD with my SSD (2.5" 256gb SSD). Do i have to remove the 24gb mssd or can the SSD run with the mssd?
2. How do i transfer all of my programs and windows to the SSD? Do i have to transfer everything from the 1TB hdd and then the booting files from the mssd or just the 1TB hdd?
3. My wireless card now can't find my 5ghz wifi at home, at the moment i use the 2.4ghz. Should i buy a wireless card and replace it? is 5ghz that much better? if so, can you please recommend me a card that will work with 5ghz as i have no experience with those.
Thanks for your help!

1. The SSD can run with the MSSD, however you would have to uninstall Expresscache as it would then have no use in caching your files. You could use the MSSD for Linux or as a Storage Partition.
2. Intel Migration Software is pretty good: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/con...g/IDMS_15056_en-US.exe&lang=eng&Dwnldid=19324
3. Which Wireless card are you using? -
2. would i only have to copy my 1TB HDD or the mssd too?
3. intel centrino wireless-N 2230 -
1. Expresscache copies your most used programs and then loads them from the SSD when appropriate. However the cache is volatile and does not affect the contents of the hard drive.
2. Only the 1TB HDD.
3. I have an old, primitive router so upgrading my WiFi card is useless for me. However be aware that your stock bios might be whitelisted, so grabbing a modded bios might be useful. -
