I just wondered how the x201s weighs up against the x301, x200s (assume 4 cell) and perhaps some other manufacturers makes? I think the sony vaio x? series was also very light, does anyone know what kind of weights? Im not too familiar with that tabook stuff.

    thank you in advance

    EDIT Z series

I've just read a quick review about Toshiba Portégé R700. They claim it to be the lightest full notebook... It weights from 1.3kg with a 13.3" screen and configurable with i3,i5 and i7. One more thing I noticed in the review was that it's dock has USB3.0 ... Lenovo a bit behind now with the new docks... (I think as always)

It's a bit of an untruth for them to say its the lightest full notebook at 1.3kg when the x201s is 1.1kg, unles maybe they consider the lack of an optical drive to make it not a full notebook.
    The X301 is 1.33kg and the X201 1.34kg for what it's worth.

Also, I see some places saying the R700 is 1.3kg, and some saying it is 3lbs which is 1.36kg.

oh thanks for that! x201s seems appealing as i dont 'really' need an optical drive. from what i looked at the 640LM isnt too far behind the 620M.

now all i need to do is see the x201s returned to production!
