I want to install the operating system on an M.2 drive and RAID 0 2 SSDs for data.

The 2242 size of current M.2 slot limits us to 128gb. Do you think I can use this or this and fit it either with the 9mm compartment or the Smart card slot?

Also do you know why they suggest not using the M.2 slot for the operating system?

I don't understand why they don't utilize properly the M.2 slot, by allowing a 2280 size and the installation of the operating system.
