    Hey guys,

I am brand new here, and I have a few question about the mSata options for the x220t.

I am basically going to install a mSata disk on my x220 as a boot disk, and use my current SSD just for storage.

I did a quick forum search and according to this quite outdated post: http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo/572243-list-drives-compatible-x220.html there are a limited number of compatible msata devices.

Is the Mushkin Atlas 240GB mSATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive (SSD) (MKNSSDAT240GB-DX) compatible with that I am trying to accomplish?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

If it's a standard mSATA drive, it should work.

That should work. However, if you intend to use the mSATA SSD as your boot/OS/programs drive, it can be as small as 64GB. (In my cases, the smallest system footprint is 28GB and the largest is 43GB.) So, you can get a 120GB mSATA SSD, such as this one.
