I have become very fond of being able to middle click on a link in firefox opening something in a new tab and I especially like the trackpoint. I was wondering if it was possible to adjust the trackpoint so that it would be able to use this feature?

As in you press down on the trackpoint and it is the 'click'? I've seen it where pressure to the trackpoint (ballhead) is the same as a left-click (thought this would be perhaps default?).

I not sure if I understand what Momo is saying but... I agree I would really enjoy this feature. I don't believe there are any settings to make it do this though. An alternate solution is holding down the Control key while left-clicking the link. This will also open it in a new tab. Not quite as convenient but hopefully they'll change this.
