    Hi,

I was earlier planning to get T430, however came to know that it comes with mini display port

That is going to cause issue if i want its output to HDMI TV.

Is there a way to output of T430 to HDMI input of HD-TV via mini display port ??

    Thanks

you need a mini-displayport to hdmi adaptor like this one

For only $5.70 each when QTY 50+ purchased - Mini DisplayPort | Thunderbolt® to HDMI® Adapter w/ Audio Support | Mini DisplayPort to HDMI / DVI / VGA Adapters

Yes, I have used such an adapter successfully. Be aware that not all adapters pass the audio signal. Get one that someone else has tested successfully. I got mine from Monoprice.

For only $6.56 each when QTY 50+ purchased - DP (DisplayPort) Male to HDMI® Female Adapter | DisplayPort to HDMI | DVI | VGA Adapters

EDIT: Actually my X220 came with a full-size displayport. The mini displayport adapter linked to in the previous post by pepper_john should work fine (it's made by Monoprice as well).
