    missing drivers for devices

    just made a clean install of xp. i followed the guides to the point, but there seem to be two system devices left. how do i fix this?

    Which ones are they? Did you try installing and then running the Lenovo System Update?

    they are just shown as "system device". i want to avoid system update, it will download the latest versions of the all drivers. the bandwidth at these place is quite dismal.

    If you use system update, you can choose which drivers and updates to install. You won't have to install all of them. Give it a try.
