Hi i just bought an r52 model. Everything looks fine but when i connect to the internet with a dial up connection it goes only 31.2Kbps instead of at least 45.2 that my desktop does. Does anybody has an idea why this happens? In windows everything seems ok as i have not made any changes to the default settings.

    Thanks in advance

It could be congestion on the other side...are you using the same dial-up number?

Yeah, try using a different dial up number and see if that helps. Try unplugging phones and fax machines, any anything that plugs into the phoneline exept your computer. EVEN if it is in a different room! Also try disconnecting all your computer stuff from a surge protector. I Hope it works! :) ;)
