    more detailed power monitor?

    can anyone suggest windows software that can tell me watts being used per device rather than just the total wattage?

    I don't think these are measured per-device in hardware.

    You can get some rough estimates using the Lenovo built-in power manager, and switching on/off components, throttling CPU, adjusting screen brightness etc.

    i saw joulemeter when looking for one, but i think that gives more of an average over a period of time, i'd like to have one where you can see live fluctuations of the individual components. i think they are measured because there are tools for linux which perform this function.
