reflushed the bios with custom image 640x480 with 16 colors that I created :)

what I didn't know was that the intel logo, the lonovo sign on the right, and the "To interupt startup ..." message is always placed on top, so my first picture got messed up and I had to reflush with those in mind.

Nice. Asus has an app for this for their MB's. When I'm not lazy I'll have to do this for my Laptop. Can you do 256 colors?

How or where can I learn how to do this?

    Will this method work? http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_change_the_BIOS_bootsplash_screen_(under_Windows)

not too sure what the process is for this but for the inexperienced.. you can brick your laptop if you aren't careful. Just a fair warning.

And OP, if you could explain how u did this and maybe supply your jpeg, png, or whatever you used to do this that would be great. I think it looks awesome :)

I think it would look better if the crossbones were closer to the 'Thinkpad'

The link I posted should work for most people, however I think it might not help if you're running a x64 based OS.

Looks cool! I believe it's possible to deactivate the blue button message in the BIOS, like it's possible to disable the message of press F11 to boot other drive.
