    my t400 randomly wakes up

    HI all
    I have had my t400 for a while now, but my pc sometimes wakes up after i put it to sleep in the night time. when it does wake up, i was unable to see the screen. is this a virus or some kind a computer setting?

    do you have wake-on-lan enabled?

    It sounds like a defect. I doubt it is in the exec. Chances are they will have to change the board for this however it may be a wake-on-lan error.

    I had a Macbook that would do this as well. Very strange indeed. Do you have a wireless mouse connected?

    Yes, as above. Do you have any USB devices plugged in?

    Double check your Task Scheduler to make sure theres no antivirus, defrag or any other processes that might run.

    nope i am sure it is not usb and i dont think its wakes on lan because i am using wireless
