    i ordered my t61 on 7/21 and it has been shipped on 7/30..

    i'm very surprised because my ESD was 9/6 and i'm getting it a month before

    9/6.

    BTW how long does the shipping process take?? my UPS tracking says that

    my package is in LOUISVILLE right now and i live in NEW ENGLAND , MA

    how long do you guys think it would take me to receive it??

    i'm so excited!! can't wait

    What was your configuration? I ordered the same day as you (7/21). Yesterday, I asked the CS rep for an update, and he says it probably won't arrive earlier than my ESD (9/5) because of a backorder.

    aside from the network and my smaller HDD, oh and the dvd writer, same damn machine. Somebody better be giving me some answers. 70 days and counting since my original order :)

    My T61 was also shipped yesterday. Ordered on 7/21. Estimated delivery 8/1. They upgraded to 2 day delivery--I did not ask.

    I believe that Lenovo mentioned in their blogs a while back that they are definitely pushing to meet the demands of the consumers and are really pushing to getting the units out. Perhaps this is the fruit of their efforts XD

    Zpzgclan: I am Korean; I'm guessing the screen name gave it away.

    It looks like its not the WXGA+ that's delaying my laptop. I ordered with the 140M, DVD-R, and 100GB 7200rpm HD. It must be one of those.

    ... mine shipped today, no link yet on tracking but I hope it is NOT 2 day shipping, I wont be home until Monday.. my EDS was 9/7/07.. I very happy that it will be here before school starts.

    looked in the other shipping dates thread and everyone who configed their machine with the intel graphics are getting it shipped. the rest of us with the nvidia graphics are still waiting...driving me nuts
