i had this problem since i owned the laptop. Every thing worked fine when i first bought it, but I downgraded from window vista, to windows xp pro because of the bloat, now i can't get these 3 issues solved. make that 4

    1) bluetooth: doesn't work. turn on bluetooth switch, but bluetooth light never on. can never find other bluetooth device, guess the factbecause it's never works.
    2) audio: speaker works fine, but when i plug in a headphone both headphone and speakers are both on. Only when i restart, i hear sound out of headphones and not speakers. when i unplug headphones, i need to restart to hear sound out of speakers again.
    3)finger print reader never worked.
4)usb-everytime i plug in a usb, when i press a keyboard button, any button, usb detaches.
any suggestions. even one fix would be great.

I had the same thing happen to my bluetooth in my old toshiba laptop when I re-installed windows xp on it. You'll need to install the drivers for your bluetooth radio, but the tricky part is finding the drivers. Check out lenovo's website to see if they have it there, if not then google is your friend.

I imagine that the fingerprint reader problem would be of the same nature. I don't have any clue about the sound though...

definitely still sounds like a driver issue. I assume that model at one time came with XP?
