so I read that unlike on other thinkpads, the t400 factory restore does not allow you to pick and choose what thinkvantage software to use to remove bloatware. also, it does not come with a vista CD to do a clean format

so I was wondering, does anyone have a guide as to what services are good to turn off using msconfig? a clean format sounds like a lot of trouble for those who haven't done them regularly.

    thanks!
