i just got my wd5000bevt and i am in the process of doing a clean install. everything seems to be going great but the brighntess level is acting weird. when i use the home and end hot keys it only allows me to change the brightness to 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. does anyone know why it is not going through each level? i've already installed the hotkey drivers and the video drivers. if i use the sliders in windows 7 or the power manager, it let's me go to the other levels though. is there something i am missing here?

Is there a default power plan? I usually just make my own.
