    i need to know if this exact model has switchable graphics because i checked everywhere if this had switchable graphics and haven't found a thing :(

    This is really simple:

    If it's an i3, i5 or i7 dual core processor, it is at least possible.

    If, in your case, it has an i7 quad core processor, it is not possible.

    Well then, my answer still answered your question :) So long as there's any OTHER video card in that machine (an ATI or NV), it's going to be switchable.

    hmmmmmmmmm im hearing two different things about downloading new catalysts
    some say it doesnt support switchable graphics
    while others say it supports it but it isn't listed in the notes

    Only the i5 has switchable graphics, My mom has an i5 and I have an i7, I dont have switchable graphics but my mom's i5 does. Dont know if these even come in i3's so dont know about that.. But Im pretty sure just the i5 one has switchable graphics. Also only difference between mine and my mom's is I have an i7 and 100GB more HDD space.
