I am interested to buy a levono T60 and need your help , Levono has a special price until April 16
1- Do you think I should wait for Santa Rosa
2- Do you think after release of Santa Rosa ,Laptops with intel 945 chipest may drop their price and Levono may have special price again?
3- I use my laptop mostly for business and watching DVDs , do you think i should go with T60 (ati x1400 ) or T60p ( ati Fire GL V5250 256MB=x1700)
    your help is highly appriciated

well the wait for santa rosa is defiantely worth it in my opinion but if you wwanna buy it ow or not depends on if you need it urgently
im sure patience would yeild sweet fruits and ye the prices of the 945 chipset will drop drastically as the demand is going to plummet
whereas special offers come and go theres bound to be one sooner or later

If you need it now, get it now. If you can wait about 2 more months for Santa Rosa, then wait. (I know it comes out before then, but by the time lenovo makes Santa Rosa T60's....)

Also, if you're just using it for office tasks and watching movies, the integrated intel graphics are fine.

I wouldn't expect any special prices with the T61 till next winter though.

When you look at some of the reviews of the T60 back in February 2006, it costed ~40% more than right now, with the identical specs.
