    hey guys!

has anyone of you who already updated the newest intel wireless driver encountered wireless internet connection problems? would there be any chance that the original driver that was installed and shipped by Lenovo is more stable than any later drivers?

I haven't tried it, but the driver delivered from Lenovo works just fine. No problems whatsoever. I rarely update drivers unless I'm having problems with the ones installed or if the new ones offers some nice and new features...

Just keep the one you already have if it works fine. "If it aint' broke..."

I've been running the latest driver from the Intel site for a couple of weeks on my X61s. No problems to speak of.

I had some problems with it when I let windows manage the wireless connection but since switching (unwillingly) to the thinkpad advantage software the new driver is flawless.
