So I put my new t400s in hibernation last night and I woke up this morning expecting to do some work. To my surprise, the battery was drained, and it didn't turn on until I plugged it in. I also justed tested the standby mode while plugged in as well and the computer also woke up after a couple of minutes. Is there a power management option that is causing it to wake up?

Check the bios for a Wake On LAN setting.

This probably isn't it, but I had a z60t at one point that would turn itself on from standby/hibernate/off. Lenovo could never repair it, despite replacing almost every part of the computer. I rotated that one out of field use to office use earlier than usual.
