I have been using ThinkPads for many years without any issues. Just few day ago I started using X61s and feel eyes pain every day. I connected X61 to my separate LCD display and it still causes some pain. The picture on that separate display is not as sharp with X61 as it is when my ThinkCentre is connected to it.
I have played Screen resolution but it didn't help. DPI is set to 96, refresh rate is 60.

I would really appreciate any idea/advice\1

    Lenny

Maybe take a look at the ClearType settings?
