This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Why does the order description shows

    "LENOVO THINKPAD X61S 7668 - NO CPU TFT" :confused:

    No CPU with the unit? :confused: Am I missing something?

    "NO" means the 7668 chassis/display assembly is not a CRU.   it's not to be interpreted as "NO CPU".

    it's just a line-item part number.   there's nothing to worry about.

    CRU = Customer Replaceable Unit.   that wasn't a typo. ;)
