How come lenovo dropped the discrete graphics cards on the T400/T500 line? I can no longer select that option on the CAD website.

Its still available on the US site. Maybe they screwed up in the redesign today (they created some artificial segmentation with "elite" models, that just have more options standard).

thanx for the info. I think the cdn site is messed up because you can get the T500 upgraded to the LED backlight screen for $-180. Thats right, a subtraction!

Lenovo consistently amazes me with its typos and poor proofing. Very unprofessional.

That's odd that Lenovo Canada has no discrete options but does have the T500 LED. Maybe Lenovo is having supply issues getting the two of those options together? I would expect the majority of consumers to want the discrete T500 with LED so perhaps they removed that popular option until their supply catches up to the demand.

Only Lenovo can screw up so many times on their website pricing and options.

Wow Canada gets a $180 discount on their LED screens? It costs US customers $10K extra to get and LED. :D

If I were Canadian, I would buy as many LED screen T500s I could get my hands on and then resell them to Americans for only $8500 extra. What a steal!

I think Lenovo needs to stop using monkeys to do their data entry!

It's pretty ridiculous that this is still a problem on the Canadian site. Come on!
