Are these normal/acceptable temps? Are they high, that's why I experience slow downs, specially scrolling webpages?

Keep in mind that I have Firfox opened with 40 tabs and a VM.

    Thanks

What kind of CPU utilization are you seeing? Is this the T420? If so, 60C seems a bit high for it on idle. And the 90C high worries me. Mid 40s for the SSD seems a bit high to me as well.

Idle seems a bit high, and as livebriand said the ssd seems a bit warm.
Have you taken it apart ever and replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the heatsink assembly out?

Idle temp is safe but still considered high. Your max temp (91 C) is definitely something to throw caution to the wind over, though. The load your putting on the system is enough to push the hardware, especially the VM. Still, you should look into cleaning the fans and heatsinks, and if that doesn't help enough, you may need to consider repasting the CPU.

Everything else in your screen capture looks reasonable.
