    odd issue

    I have a T400s, and I installed a fingerprint software update, and since then on bootup there is a two inch streaming strip of vertical lines up and down about two inches from the right of the screen. It goes away when I hit the Windows login screen, but it does persist through the boot process.

    Any ideas?

    It sounds like a driver problem. Do you have a backup of the system?
