I have the opportunity to return my X61T after having it crap out on me numerous times. Should I return it and take the refund or have Lenovo attempt to fix it? The refund would be around 2300 dollars. Thanks!

Well, do you like it enough to want to keep it? If so, have them fix it.

If you really don't like it or think it isn't right for you (which I kind of suspect, given that you are phrasing this as an "opportunity" to return it), then return it and spend the money on whatever does suit your needs.

My X60t has been in the repair depo for over a week waiting for a new SXGA+ screen. If you have the hi-res screen, there is no telling how long it will take to fix. The best answer I could get is, "I really don't know."

I am torn on wether I should return it or not...Tech Support/Customer Service is terrible, and it will take them ~ 3 weeks to fix it due to parts being backordered in China. I really want to like this computer, but going from the x61T to my T60P is like night and day with regards to the amount of work I can get done (AutoCAD, AcadMap, ArcView) etc. I like the small size of the X61T but the graphics are pretty absymal and it takes forever to render anything. I feel kind of bad because I sunk a bunch of money into the accessories, cases, broadband service, etc. I really liked the computer when I got it, but the constant hardware malfunctions, bugs etc are starting to annoy me. In the back of my mind I am hoping that if I indeed give them a chance to fix it that it will work right this time, but its a gamble at this point. For the price I am not sure if there is anything out there that can do what the X61T does, and I do not want to give up on it because I really like the way the computer is designed (simple and functional). So I guess my question should be for the price is there anything else out there that can do what the X61T can do?

Also has anyone noticed loose fitting parts after coming back from the DEPO? Are things as solid as when it came from the factory?
