    hi, i bought y580 recently. since few days i am experiencing a wired problem. sometimes screen goes black for 1 sec and then laptop cant find nvidia card. from mouse right button i cant see any nvidia option. i have to restart to get that. but i started a game, it seems laptop is using nvidia card! anyone knows what might be the problem?

    Defected graphics card or bad wiring would be my guess.
    You're still in your warranty period, so you might want to contact Lenovo

    Is this problem persisting?

    it behaved this way since day 1?

    what happens when you restore to factory condition?

    i not sure if it is from day one. i noticed it from last week. i bought the laptop 2/3 weeks ago. i didnt restore to factory condition. should i try?

    I have no idea what you installed since the past 3 weeks, so restoring to factory is the best thing before you declare it's a hardware problem.

    sounds like the graphics software is uninstalling itself. Could be software, could be hardware.

    restore to factory, then play game. If it happens again, install another game. If it still happens with other game, call lenovo.
