For the past 6 years i have purchased used Thinkpads and were very happy with them. I've had a T20, T42 and my last one an R52. My R52 had an "accident" and now i'm searching yet again for another Thinkpad. What I have never been able to figure out is in what succession were the thinkpad's manufactured. Are the T20s the oldest and the R52's the newest or were some of the models made at the same time just different configurations.

I am ultimately trying to find out of the T20s, T40s, T60s and R50s which model is the newest (what year each was manufactured) or at least which one has the best performance, thank you.

I only use it for internet browsing and using an Access database for business use, must have a built in wireless feature.

I have already looked on Lenovo's site and this site and can not find the information.

    Thanks!

It only goes up to the T60 era ThinkPads, here you go. You can probably figure the rest.

    Oh yeah, welcome to NBR.
