ordered one week order shipped

My order was just shipped today. Strange because I selected everything that was suppose to delay my order. I guess they just got a new shipment.

 

Grrr... this makes me angry. Mine is still waiting in the queue after more than a month (ordered 5/24), and when I call they say it's at the top of the list. If mine doesn't ship in the next few days, I'm canceling the damn thing and buying a Dell.

originally 8/14 it just shipped yesterday though

Things are definately turning around.

 

Nice... Now if they would only release a 15.4 w/ discrete

 

I wouldn't exactly call it a turn around until they can start reliably shipping these machines for at least 3 months. Not to mention it's still incredibly disturbing that lenovo has people waiting on machines they ordered over a month ago and their filling orders for those who ordered a week ago. Don't let lenovo off the hook too easily. Things are still screwed up.

 

Agreed. I even made my way to "second level" support and while the fellow on the phone was very nice, he obviously hasn't been able to help me with my situation at all. My system specs are pretty close to what magna got as well, except I didn't get the nVidia graphics (no gaming) and I got the WXGA screen (bad eyes). Maybe it's the screen messing things up, but if that's the case, they should at least let me know.

I'm calling them again today after work and will post any news I hear.
