    hey everyone. i recently ordered a thinkpad off of this site. I thought everything was fine until they emailed me saying they needed photocopies of my state id and credit card. I was wondering if anyone else has ordered from this site and was asked to do this. I also recieved another email saying that there was an issue with my order. I just found this to be very irregular and was wondering if anyone has had any problems.

    i ordered the same model as yours a last week. i had to do the same thing too, took pics, and then emailed them the info. i called them up bout it and they were helpful. u can also fax it to them too. i got my T60 on time and it works great! looks better than in the pics. this is my 1st laptop and im more than happy with my thinkpad.

    They also asked me to do the same. But I eventually refused and cancelled the order. Maybe nothing is wrong for them to be cautious. I just did not feel comfortable with that. Their price is around 50$ cheaper than buy.com. I ordered a T60 2623D6U from another website last friday and got it today.
