This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    This may seem like a stupid question, but when you see a laptop you like in the tabook, how do you order it, do you call in or is there a site?

    if you look above this post on the forum, labeled sticky:ThinkPad Models, Warranties, and Parts, it shows all the current confgurable thinkpad models, i think

    when you phone, just give them the model number from the tabook.

    or search for it on the site where it says part number (it's a crappy site tho i know)
