    out of the box - right 2 USB panels don't work!!

    edge 14 new - 0578-65u (hd7200 4gig ram i3 blutetooth and fingerprint reader)



    tried reinstalling drivers - but it basicly says that the hardware cannot be installed. can they be disconnected from the factory?? (not good)

    Do the USB ports appear in Device Manager (should be listed under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, near the bottom)? If not, it's a hardware issue - there's a possibility they could've not been connected.

    the problem had to do with sleep mode disabling the ports!! a bios update fixed it.
