What does the fn key with the page up button do? I see a lil white light on the screen pop up but I don't see any difference.

You just answered your question. ThinkLight sucks.
-
lol nice answer johnny
The "thinklight" is supposed to be used in a dark environment to light up the keyboard. It works well IMO - definitely better than no light at all! -
Yeah you hardly notice it if it's not too dark to see the keys, but get in a dark room and it makes a difference imo, ymmv.

LOL most of the time my LCD screen is brighter than the damn ThinkLight itself so the ThinkLight doesn't do anything.

I think some are better than others. In the t61 especially, it has been pointed out how weak the TL is vs the t43. That chinese review? He put pics of both side by side.
Mine is pretty bright (z series), but it's not an LED. Yellow light. -
When working in a dark dorm room (roomate asleep) the thinklight becomes a valuable asset. I like that I can dim down the screen so that I'm not blinded by the brightness and turn on the thinklight and work without a problem.
page up light button???
