I've just got a new T61 today. Everything runs very well except the wireless connection. I don't know why? My wireless connection is Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection, version 11.5.1.8. I used a lot of ways to active the adapter but it seems doesn't work. (I turned the wireless connection on already). The laptop can't detect any wireless connection even when I check with other laptops, they still access to the internet perfectly. I'm using vista home premium 32 bit.
If anyone know the solutions, plz tell me. Thx you so much!

What OS are you using and what software are you using to detect the Access point?

Check the Access point to see if it has MAC filtering on.

are you getting an ip address? do you get an APIPA address? (169.xxx.xxx.xxx)
give some screenshots of an ipconfig /all on from the command line.

If you have a think pad use Use Access Connections

Blue Button - Find a wireless signal - that will tell you what your card is seeing.
