Hey I'm looking for a new laptop and I currently own a Dell. I love the dell warranty, but the laptop overheats. How do lenovo's do with heat? I plan on doing some gaming, but no overclocking. I'm interested int he y580 with gtx660m but i'm afraid that the aluminum, like my dell, will burn my wrist off. This is a school computer so I won't be able to bring a cooler to class (i'm in law school, so I can't look that dorky). Also, I can't do the whole arctic silver 5 thermal paste swap like I did on my dell because I don't want to void my warranty.

i have a y570 and it doesn't get hot to touch at all [unlike my alienware]
temps get to around 80 when running sc2 on high or d2 on high

Out of all the brands of laptops I've owned. My Lenovo Y570 seems to be the coolest idling @ 58-60C and max @ 75 C

My Toshiba L750 earlier used to idle @ 70C and max @ 95C!!!!
