    G'day all,

I've just received my n100, and am enjoying it thoroughly! Just one thing I can't seem to work out - while I can adjust the time for a blank screen, turn off hard drive, etc. using the Lenovo Care, and I can adjust the brightness of the screen manually, when I connect or disconnect the power, there seems to be no discernable change. Is there someway of knowing and controlling the brightness of the screen and the change in the processor speed?

    thanks

The settings for the level of screen brightness must be done twice.

First you set your desired brightness for ac, then you must unplug the unit and set the battery level.

You need to disconnect the A/C adapter to set the battery level of brightness, both cannot be done while plugged in or while on battery.

    hope this helps

thanks for that...but what about actually controlling other aspects of performance such as CPU speed? Also, is there any way of displaying how long a battery has left? (edit: I guess what i'm asking is there anything like the thinkpad's battery maximiser?)
