hi, I am using Power Manager 3.61, every time I restart my thinkpad, it resets brightness setting for plugging in mode back to maximum. How do I fix that?

It should go down if you wait. If not, go into advanced mode and manually set the brightness level there and save it.

that's what I did, I am using power manager 3.61 as stated in the first post, went into system setting then set the brightness to minimum, saved it. Restart my thinkpad, back to maximum again.

From my experiences with restoring to factory settings, it seems to do that for a while and then magically remember the brightness one day. Just open Power Manager and choose your profile, and it should just resolve itself.

Go to Windows 7's Power Options and toggle the profiles. This should clear any contradictions between the two.
