Even after some restarts? Then reinstall, i guess.

i did everything, even reinstall

Of course !

So no suggestions at all ?

Could it actually be there but changed shape? Here is my related question:
When I have the battery installed, my T61 shows the gauge quite obviously toward the right side of the task bar. Big battery symbol when no battery plugged.
But with my new x61s, the gauge was not noticeable; it's on the left side right next to the "start" button, very tiny icon that you can't tell what it is; sometimes not even showing up there. Do different models have different kinds of power manager gauges? -
I got the same issue after I fresh installed Windows Server 2003 with my T61P.
After some research I figured out that I need to install .net framework 3.5(maybe 3.0 is enough) first. The .net framework with Windows Server 2003 in default was 1.1 I believe.
Then, I downloaded the newest XP power management driver(Jan 5, 2009 version), and installed it smoothly without a problem.
You could try just like what I did.
If you fail again, maybe you could google a previous power meter for Thinkpad. That should works as well. -
I reinstalled Power Manager as many of forum members suggested and I got power gauge back immediately. But my original power manager is only on version 1.13 c so I upgraded it on 1.51a again ! And it disappeared again !
So I reinstalled again and it works ! But on version 1.13c.
And it worked on the version before 1.51a as well ! Where can I get power maneger on version before 1.51a ? It was probably verison 1.51 ?
power manager gauge in the task bar disappeared
