When I had visa, I was able to right click that green battery thing on my taskbar and select which power setting to use, eg: maximum performance, power optimized, battery stretch etc.

Now I have to open power manager and select it manually, which is kinda annoying. Anyone know how I can just right click the green battery and select the power source?

    Right click?

I just click it once with the left mouse button and it opens the power settings menu.

    Long to load?

The menu should just pop up like the right click one, at least it is in my T500.

I believe that lenovo removed this with the newest version of the power manager or this option isn't available in Win 7.

The keyboard shortcut Fn+F3 still works however.

I agree that it is annoying that you have to actually launch power manager to change power plans.

Battery thresholds should return in the next version of PM.
