    ditch the basic, at least premium. you'll be glad you did in the long run. hard drives and ram are cheaper on the market, which it looks like you are going that route.

    Vista premium I already bought that i never registered. also I'm gonna use the laptop for video dj-ing.
    My budget is 1100 for a new laptop, since i just paid off my credit cards and are trying to get rid of some.
    also the quote is valid for 30 days within which i plan on buying the laptop.

    all premuim really adds is media center and aero, but i cant image not spending the extra $30 for those capabilities. if you have a copy of premium then have at it, save all you can.

    I'm Sorry I meant Business, for some reason i types Premium. I was on the phone while replying. btw memery prices are so darn cheap for these babies. almost half the price of pc 2700 for my t41. damn.
