I have two monitors hooked up to my advanced dock with my T400, one on the digital, one on the analog.

When I undock my machine alot of the times the laptop screen isn't on and the only way I can get it to come back on is to turn off the machine, by holding down the power button, and then turning it back on.

This is very annoying. I am wondering if maybe I have the wrong setting set with FN+F5, I believe those are the keys used to bring up the monitor settings.

Other than that I do not know, it's very frustrating.

    Hi,

do you have Presentation Director installed and correctly set up (one config for your normal notebook settings and one for the external screens)?

    BTW: It's FN+F7 ;)

    Greetz!

The correction was not meant to offend you, I apologize if it did.

Here is how I handle my setup: I created a Pres.Dir. scheme for the external monitor setting and let P.D. set my notebook-only mode as "captured display setting". Afterwards you click "FN+F7 settings" and select "toggle" with your external setting.
Having set this you can switch between both modes simply by pressing FN+F7.

    Greetz!
