    Hey!

    I just bought a T61 widescreen and I just realize that the 6-cell battery is protruding.

    I would like to know if it's the same case for the T61p ?

    For both screen sizes of the T61p, the 6-cell doesn't stick out. Both screen sizes also offer the 9-cell, which sticks out.

    why on my T61, the 6cell stick out lol

    I can take a picture if you want, I still have my T60p with the 9-cell battery. It's not the same!

    I can't put my 9-cell on my T61 !

    help me understand!

    It sticks out because Lenovo engineered it that way? I don't know, lol.

    The T60p you have is of a standard aspect ratio, and the T61 is widescreen, that's why your battery won't fit.

    It's because you have the 14'' wide screen version. The 14'' standard screen T61s with 6 cell batter don't protrude.

    The wide screen battery and standard screen batteries aren't interchangeable.

    If you want a T61 with 6 cell that doesn't protrude, you'll either have to buy one of the following:
    14'' standard screen
    15'' widescreen
