    will the ultrabay battery for T40/T41/T42 work with T61?

    It should, but i know that they list different part numbers for the batteries by model. the T42's have a P# 08K8190 and the T61 has P#40Y6789.

    they have different dimension. will they work?

    I am so confused. I thought all the ultrabay on T series are the same.

    The dimensions are the same only the part numbers have changed. It should work for all intensive purposes but i have not personally tired it myself so i can't give a guarantee.

    I checked the dimension. it's different.

    lenovo says - t60 has enhanced ultrabay. t40 has slim ultrabay.
