    question about warranty info.

    I just got the serial number of my newly ordered system.

    I chose 3 yr warranty when i bought it. However, when I lookup on lenovo's website using this serial number, I only see one year warranty.

    anyone else has this kind of problem?

    did you print it out? if not try calling lenovo and ask them to resend your order information

    Sure you typed the part number in right? One time I typed in 8991 instead of 8891 and it turns out that someone with a 8991 laptop has the same serial number as me and I saw their warranty info when I looked it up.

    where can i get a proof of the purchase of the warranty?

    It's a bad day for me.

    My acer desktop just broke down, right after i sold it on ebay.
    I had to refund the buyer, eat the fees. and acer told me I have to pay for the shipping to them for repair.

    Now, i found lenovo messed up with my order...

    Why are these happening to me, in a single day!!!

    I just got the receipt in email. It shows 3yr warranty??

    it probably means you have the 3 year warranty. just keep it for your records.

    they told me it takes a few weeks to update the web.

    I never heard about this.

    I had the same problem. I had to contact sales twice to get it resolved. I received my computer in June and Lenovo didn't show my warranty until last week.

    I would just send an email every week or so until the warranty shows up for your serial number.
