I just started scanning the lenovo outlet products, assuming they were out of my price range. To my suprise they aren't. It's hard to tell exactly what I'm getting there as I don't understand the product codes or part numbers other that the model number (T61).
Are the product codes just different for the varied configurations? Are there some to stay away from?
Any suggestions that would keep me from making a mistake would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rut

since noone answered I'll take a stab.
My best advice is to go to lenovo's site and go through it as if you're configuring your notebook. You dont need to go all the way to configuring. Pick the thinkpad you want and go on the configuration page. The product code should be displayed on the top. Lets say its 7668CTO.
Look up the outlet page. Since you picked the X series ( in the example ) , look for 7668CTO models under the X series tab. If you're lucky what you're looking for might be one or close to one of the 7668CTOs on the list. -
does the list update as its sold cause i dont want to call and not have that one there to buy.

no idea...I assume its updated but how long it takes is anyones guess. Either way calling is the only way to know for sure.
