Thinking about pulling the trigger on a r61 14.1 wga. Does the off center screen bother anyone or is it nothing to worry about? also is the lcd screen quality good? thanks for the info!

The off-center screen is only noticeable if you stare intently at the bezels. Nothing to worry about.

As for screen quality, I'm not going to comment. To me, that's more of a subjective question than anything.

You won't even notice it unless you stare at it

I didn't realize the screen was off center until I read about it here :p
Anyway, the screen quality is good enough. The contrast isn't as good as that of glossy screens of course, but you only notice it if you're working in broad daylight (in which case a glossy screen would reflect the sun, I think).

I've watched dozens of movies with my friends and nobody said the screen wasn't sharp enough (well, nobody said anything good about it either, but I'll take it as a good thing).
