1.Can someone tell me the processor temperature ? I got 48-50 degrees on idle and at 51 the cooler gets into action - almost every 4-5 minutes

    2. I recently performed a bios update, the problem is that I don't know the original bios version; now I have the 2.17 7KETB7WW 25.04.08. Can you tell me the version of the original one? I did not write it down; maybe the heating problem is related to that update, I didn't notice it before, but I maybe wrong
    System: R61 15.4" 8918 CTO T9300 2gb ram, nvidia 140m
    Thanks!

My R61 with a T8100 (7732CTO, 2GB ram, x3100) reads 32C on both cores, using CPUID's HWMonitor. This is while web browsing on batteries, reading this forum, in fact.

The ACPI temps are: THM0 (42C) and THM1 (32C) but frankly I've never been able to tell what they measure. \_Q_/

BIOS, which is what shipped with the machine I think, is 7LETA9WW (2.09) dated 12/27/07.

Ok, so maybe it's paranoia :) I guess I have normal temperature readings. I'll stick to the new bios, I won't try to downgrade (they say It's not possible to downgrade from 2.17 version).
    Thanks !
