    recovery media success??

    How do I know if the recovery disk I have is successful.

    I went through 5 dvd+R and it didn't work. I finally used dvd-r but only used 2 disk. Most of you here said that it required 2 dvd plus a cd and I only used 2 dvd and it said it was successful. I am confused. This recovery is a chore. I used maxell 4x if that makes any difference.

    I also right click on the lenovo factory backup partition info and it takes me to create recovery media. I thought you are only allowed one recovery burn. thanks

    i don't remember exactly... but i remember it saying it "finished"

    to give you hard facts... mine was 2 dvds and a cd and i tested it and it worked (tested as in did a full recovery with it).

    so i tried using cds but on the third disk it wont burn. unbelievable.
